The Client signed up for a freshen up plan via a virtual auction for African Library Project . The customer had made very limited updates to their property in the last 5 years and wanted to bring in more California Natives and create a seating area.
A Fresh Start Gardens designed the plan, plant list and teamed with Hidalgo Gardening Services. We implemented a new back fence and stain. We up-cycled the neighbors slate and stones and created a patio and walkway and cleaned up the pavers that were in the garden. We pruned all the trees and removed bushes.
We then created a new watering system, amended the soil and inserted mostly California natives in the garden. We also added 2 herb hanging baskets to help add interest to the fence. We updated several of the clients existing containers to bring additional color in select parts of the garden. In the front yard we pruned the Yucca, inserted stone and created better curb appeal.
